Do I have to pay to try it?
No. 14 days free, full product, no credit card. If you stay, your data stays.
We already run everything in Excel. Do we start from zero?
No. Onboarding includes up to six months of history and a 30-minute training, at no charge.
Will my team actually use it?
Each technician gets their own view: today’s services, estimated commission, and tips. They do not need accounting training.
What if someone edits a number so the drawer “adds up”?
They cannot. The ledger is append-only. Corrections create new events and the history stays visible. No silent edits.
Where does each dashboard number come from?
From the events that produced it. Any total opens, one click, down to the individual transaction — expected vs actual.
We do a lot of cash and tips.
That is what it is built for: cash, card, and transfer splits, with tips attributed to the right technician.
How long until this is useful?
The target is under 48 hours: you configure, import, and close your first day on the system.
Do WhatsApp reminders cost extra?
No. They are included in your plan. No per-message fee.
Can my clients book online?
Not yet from your own website. Each salon will get a page on recepcionlabs.com for clients to book; today appointments are entered from the calendar.
What if I need help?
You write Iván, directly at hola@controlos.mx. A person who knows your salon answers — not a bot.
How do I pay, and am I locked into a contract?
In pesos, with Mexican methods: SPEI and OXXO. Month to month or annual. You get a free month for every salon you refer.
Does this replace WhatsApp for appointments?
It replaces the notebook and the endless chat thread. Aurelia confirms when you book and reminds 24 hours ahead; the client reschedules or cancels from their phone. The floor still uses WhatsApp for being human — not for running the till.
How is this different from Fresha or Booksy?
Those products live on online booking and a marketplace. Salon Control OS lives on the operating day in Mexico: cash, tips, commission, and a drawer that balances. We do not take a cut for sending you directory leads.
Does it work for a small nail or hair salon?
Yes. It is built for salons with 2–12 technicians where the owner still closes the drawer. Nails (Gel X, pedicure, fills) and hair (cut, color, treatment) share the same calendar, checkout, and close.
Do I need internet on the floor all day?
Yes for live operations. If the network drops, do not invent a parallel notebook: when it returns, you continue the same day. History is not rewritten.
